Sunshine must be the best part of summer. Brighter skies, longer days. We can pack so much more into this season, and we soak up A LOT of SUN while doing it.
While our skin care routine gets a bit simpler in the summertime, the necessities always stay the same. Sunscreen is the constant.
If we can ask one thing of you this season, it would be to protect your skin. It is a task that should sprinkle throughout your day. Make sure to use products that are not expired and remember to reapply to not only your face, but your neck and chest too…these areas are often forgotten and are the first to show sunspots and wrinkles.
Our Licensed Aesthetician, Sam had this to say about summertime skin. "The change in humidity and increase in temperature causes our skin to have trouble retaining moisture. We also tend to sweat more which can cause to buildup in our pores." Knowing this helps to explain why a yearlong product regimen doesn't always do the trick.
